Another year and another litter in the same spot as last year, I think with the same Vixen... This time she has 5 cubs, only one of last years made it through.

All i can say is lucky B*****d, The fox has always been my all time favorite and yet i have never managed to get a young cub on film,I think next year i will put out all the stops for this type of image,It is very tight in the frame but that gives it impact and lots of the ahhh factor,Look forward to more
My wife stumbled across 3 fox cubs today (younger than this one apparently) whilst walking in the grounds of the place her office is situated, yards from where I have spent hours staking the pathway out in the hope of getting a fox picture - just my luck that today I decided not to go there!
Thanks all for your comments. It is a shame about the tick, unfortunately they all seem to have one but that's wild animals for you I guess! Hopefully I can get some more as they grow up, that pic makes them look an awful lot bigger than they are. They'd still fit in the palm of your hand if you could pick them up, which of course I won't be.
Jealous! Have been trying to do fox cubs for a while now and my project always fall apart for one reason or another... normally disturbance from Mr Jow Public. I'm sure you can edit the tick out with a little and careful use of PS. This cubs only looks a couple of weeks old at most... great to have that kind of access. Looking forward to seeing more as they grow up.

Very nice, but being ultra picky would be better without the bit of blossom?? above the eye.
Although if I get anything like this i'll be well chuffed

Funny how one person sees the parasitic tick, another sees it as a bit of blossom!
A nice inage with good detail and sharpness. No real nits, a very nice portrait, good luck getting more shots, a great subject to photograph.
cheers

Definatley for me has that impact factor, and no doubt it would do for lots of other lovers of wildlife and animals.
