Common Tern
Thanks for the comments on my last image

This is another from fairly recently, an adult Common Tern feeding its youngster.

Techs:
Nikon D300s
Nikon 200-400mm f4 VR
Handheld
F4
1/1600s
ISO 400

I would also really appreciate it if you could have a look at my new website, which is just a few days old. It will take you to it if you click the "www" icon at the bottom. Thanks!

Thanks for looking

Hi Oscar - nice interaction in the shot.

Re your site, it's looking good and at least I can access it on my iPad/iPhone. From the quick look around I had, I might suggest changing some the image titles to something a little more descriptive (and dropping the numbers too). I notice you've also put a few coastal birds in the freshwater section ? HTH's a little

Oscar

Terns never fail in the photogenic department. Sheer coincidence I was about to post almost identical subject.

Thanks Graham and Barry

Graham, I'm in the process of changing the titles now, but am not sure about the coastal birds in the freshwater section. What birds were you referring to? I can't check the gallery as I've deleted it now to re-do the image titles, but the only thing I can remember was the Marsh Harriers. Do you think they should be in the coastal gallery?

Thanks

Thanks Phil, yeah sorry about that, I'm redoing the image titles so have removed the images from the galleries, but am gradually replacing them now

looks good, the deer shots on the site are a stand out, a few cold mornings in september may found me loitering around them again :toast: :toast: :toast:

Lovely image, Oscar. The wing position of the adult is very nice, as the interaction between the two Terns.

The website is looking good too
