It's Dahlia Time Again
Canon 5DIII, 300mm w/tubes, 0.3sec @ f/20, ISO 100

Hey all, it's Dahlia time again. The fields at Swan Island Dahlia farms are in full bloom, and the weather this morning couldn't have been better. Perfect for flowers--overcast and no wind. I was surprised that I was almost the only photographer there...anyway, here's one I managed to catch. I shot at f/20 to get maximum DOF, but had to do quite a bit of sharpening to minimize the effects of Diffraction.

I plan on hitting the farm the next two weekends, so I hope to see some of you down there.

Lovely, lovely, lovely soft pastel colors! A real keeper here David.

Those colors are wonderful David, and the water droplets really top it off!

Fantastic! Yes, my Dahlia timing meter has been spiking lately. This image inspires me to get at it? Thanks.
