California Fall Foliage

Nationwide Fall Foliage

Colorado Fall Foliage

Canadian Fall Foliage

Fall Foliage Articles – Articles and webcams on U.S. Locations and Drives

Photo Tips for Fall Foliage – Articles on Photographing Fall Foliage

Corrections and Additions Welcome.

Thanks for the heads up, Sandy. I am really curious to see how the fall colors shape up in this dry year.

A dendrologist reported that dry summer weather and cool nights could lead to good fall foliage in the U.S. Northeast. Not sure if applies to California. Here is the link to the article from ScienceDaily: Summer Weather Could Mean Fall Colors Pop in Northeast U.S.

Hey,

I'll be on the road early Friday morning. Not sure where I'll stop, but Bishop Creek Canyon, and Owen's Valley are my target destinations. I may stop in Lee Vining/Mono Lake Area if something grabs my attention. Always cruise the June Lake Loop too. Anyway, I drive a Green 99' Jeep Grand Cherokee. Stop and give a yell if you see me. I may try and do a hike into the Thousand Island Lake area too, maybe? I hope to run into a few of you!
