Sunset Barn Owl (C) & re post
Had some fun last night shooting my pals raptors for his new pest control and flying display website. This barn owl seemed to enjoy having his picture taken:wink:

5dmkII, 24-70 f2.8@70mm, ISO 500, f9, 1/200, 580 EX II on manual, hand held.

Hi Bob.
It's a great looking image the Owl and the nice sky in the bg are super,if i have a tiny nit i can't make up my mind about all the timber to the left of the image, after saying this from someone that is pretty poor at cropping perhaps i could be completley wrong  and of course it's just the way i'm looking at it.
I sure wish it was mine timber and all.

I like the timber Keith but here is a portrait without and I like this as well

I like this one Bob still can't make up my mind,be interesting to see what others think but you certainly have some permutations and i would be thrilled to bits with both.

Well controlled flash Bob and the jessies are hidden which is good. Not sure which of the two I prefer though ?

I'd be happy with either version, but the first one just edges it for me.

I think both images work fine, but I do like the second one. Nicely done, Bob :toast:

I like both Bob but if I had to really choose then I think the first would just take it. Great lighting and the sky is a perfect backdrop.
