Wondering what one might charge for usage of a photo for an entire roadside billboard or a portion of one? I have a business that I used to work for wanting one of my photos for that purpose. I haven't a clue where to start. Thanks for your input ahead of time. BTW if this is in the wrong forum please let me know. Thx

Low Price:: $1,100.00
Average Price:: $1,450.00
High Price:: $1,800.00
(Charge less for 6-month use)
The calc is quirky to use, you have to pick Full Page and "10 or less" for distribution to get it to work, even though your image may not cover the whole billboard. Anyway, those fees are an average from polling 125 photographers about what they charge, so that seems to be the reasonable cost. Go for it, ask what you're worth.

Wow Paul thx for your quick response and the cool link. This certainly gives me a starting point to pivot from. Of course these are friends and are expecting me to cut them a deal. You know how that is, but at least now I know what a deal would be. Thanks again
