Another Hare from my favourite field, had some very good tips from Steve that i am still working on to try to improve my photoshop skills.
Thanks for looking and your comments on my last post.
Hi Keith, you certainly are lucky with your Hares.
You need to run some NR on the BKG. The detail, sharpness & clarity on the subject is better, but you do have some colour cast creeping in, plus, it still has an untagged profile (not sRGB) . A 3x2 landscape crop also works as another option. You are certainly moving in the right direction.

I often find it a fine balance between sharpening subject and NRing the background. Over doing it can look really odd and if you do NR you will need to make sure the long in focus grass is not hit, one hell of a mask. In this case I would be tempted to leave the BG and just sharpen the hare and corresponding grass. Maybe warm it a touch too ;) Nice close shot though.

Lovely shot, great composition and subject. Some good ideas on how to really polish it too
Thanks for this,Steve i take your point about colour cast and will try to use your system on my next post, don't know about the luck with these animals i have spent a lot of effort getting them, taking in wind direction and the placing of my hide ect.
Neil i have not applied any sharping to this image coulld the noise be down to low light and the iso at 500 on mt 7000?
Thanks Keith.

Great image Keith. Shouldn't get too much noise at ISO 500 with the D7000 unless its to do with web compression.
Nick.

Hi Keith i do think that is normal background noise my d300 does similar things on some shots at iso 500 and on every shot i process unless iso 200 i NR background. The trick is to NR the background and then sharpen only where's critical
