A Long-tailed tit sat in her nest

Out today, i saw this white looking ball in the spikey brambles.Getting closer i discoverd it was a nest.

Then i discoverd it was a nest for a long tailed tit :cool:

Cute image.

I think you've got some blown highlights in there and her eye's don't look 100% sharp to me?

Great nests. Now I must go find them for myself ( with the birds welfare in mind....... ).

Would also like to see this zoomed out version of this so as to see its habitat,Abit of selective usm should sort this one out

Hi Alan

An excellent composition. I would agree it lacks critical sharpness on the bird but otherwise an engaging image. If possible I would try for a closer in shot (with 1.4xTC?) and isolate just the nest and the bird inside, although this works well for showing the overall habitat.
