Double Rainbow and Some Extra Colors
This one is just for fun. About a month ago, off my back patio, we got one of the most vibrant rainbows I've ever seen. It quickly turned into a double rainbow and then I noticed it looked a little thicker than usual. I zoomed in, and sure enough there were some extra bands of color. I had never seen this so I thought I'd share.

Scott, what you saw was a supernumerary rainbow. Wikipedia has a great article on the different types of rainbows. also if you notice the order of the colorbands is reversed in the outer rainbow.
