Hare raising experience!
Nikon D7000 300mmf4 + TC14e ISO 320 1/1250s at f7.1 handheld.

Spent yesterday afternoon walking up and down a big hill getting some mountain hare images whilst still in their summer coat. This hare moved away from me and then literally stood up on its hindlegs to get a better view of me. Have cropped out some white stones below the hare as I felt they would be too eye catching. Many thanks for your comments on my Stonechat image ans as always your C+C are most warmly welcomed.

Nick.

That's a great pose Nick, those Hares you have up there look to have lot smaller ears than these down here. It's an image i like a lot.

Hi Nick, the incline of the hill, plus the pose of the hare works nicely, albeit looking away. There is a colour issue, more noticeable in the sky & whites of the hare. Well done for getting so close.

an impressive pose Nick, I like it. The sky does look a bit purple to me and the image slightly dark, but easily sorted.
