This is another one from Skomer, not from The Wick, but fairly near High Cliff (I think). I wanted to get one with Sandeels in its mouth, and with the OOF flowers in the background, which were still out, despite it being July.
Hi Oscar, I like the use of the vegetation as a vignette and the pastel colours to the BKG, although I do feel it's perhaps a tad vibrant. The darks of the plumage seem to lack some depth (although there is detail) and perhaps some colour cast is creeping in, more noticeable in the whites of the face. I do like the look back pose and having the sand eels clinches the deal. As another option I would look at a 3x2 format reducing/adjusting the space balance (ratio) top & bottom.
cheers
Steve

Oscar
As Graham states a classic puffin image, imho just feel the vignette effect detracts from the impact slightly.

very nice but a little to the left would have been better, but a lovely shot

Not keen on the mush Oscar but a nice Puffin shot.

I like the mush on this one Oscar. I also like the muted colours. You look to have had some luck with the soft lighting on your trip. Whenever I have been over there it has been vaery harsh sunlight.

Love it. Mush and all. The bird a tad to the left would be nice for me
