I am glad to be part of this network and I would like to say hello to everybody. I didn’t have the chance to have a detailed look into the forums and galleries, just enough to realize that it is worthwhile and to realize that this is an interesting place to stay and to participate.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Joana and I am Spaniard living currently near Barcelona in Spain. I have been taking pictures ever since I can remember. My husband and me love to do hiking as well and, fortunately, we have here thousand of wonderful places, including high mountains, rugged cliffs, nice villages, amazing beaches and unique architecture; just at few hours driving!!!! But, besides this, we love also to travel to those places where Nature is especially wonderful. Recently, we have been in Alaska, New Zealand and Scotland. We collaborate with some stock agencies, editorials and photographers. We also have given some courses, seminars and audiovisuals.
I am sure that I am going to enjoy being part of your “family”

Welcome aboard, Joana! I just took a look at your slideshow and some of your gallery, you have an excellent skill at controlling light, I saw some stunning images on there. Glad you've joined NPN!
A big welcome! Nice to know a little about you. You have some very stunning images in your Gallery - I'm really looking forward to your posts and comments.
We have a lot of international members, and I love that - it gives us a chance to see areas of the world, and it's inhabitants, that we might not otherwise see.
This is a great community made better by every joining member.

Joana - After reviewing the images on your website, I see that you have many outstanding architectural/city photos. Please know that you can post non-nature photos in the POP Photos Gallery. We would love to see your photos of that type as well!
