I love everything about this image but especially the dry stone wall and the wonderfully rich colour. Gorgeous light!

Another stunning image Andy and I am very jealous! Spent a couple of hours touring a moorland road hoping to get a red grouse image and did not see any. :frown: I particularly like the purple patch in the BG giving a hint of the heather. Top drawer image mate!

Andy recon you would have to work very hard to find a fault with this excellent image, the light and colour is superb.

So nice to see the feet !.
I reckon it could do with a tiny ,tiny bit of gamma boost but could be my gear.
Great stuff . I prefer them on a bottle.

Andy

The light is used so well, takes the image to a higher level.

Cracking image Andy, nice to see this in a different location, on the dry stone wall. Well positioned in frame too. They certainly were keeping their heads down last week, but that might have also been the weather.

I find this shot highly unnatural as it appears to have been taken in sunlight, and from my visit earlier this year I don't believe the sun ever shines on the North York Moors!

Seriously, it is a great shot and I also like the purple patch of heather that others have commented on.

Fantastic

Is this part of a series? If so did you get any looking more along the wall, or did he fly away
