Oh what a big mouth you have....
One from Skomer last year.

Nicely caught, Robert. My only nit is that the eye looks a little on the dark side, and I suggest a selective lightening around that area. Otherwise a fine portrait.

It's a good looking portrait with some excellent exposure control, giving some good detail in both the whites and the blacks. The open beak pose adds a great deal to the shot, but I have to agree with David re the eye, the lack of any catchlight makes for a dead looking eye, but thats easily fixed if you're so inclined.

Unusual Pufin shot Robert and I think it works well. A catchlight would bring the eye out a bit more and as Andy has said is easily sorted if you wanted to.

Nice portrait, although it is a bit big in the frame for my taste. However I really like the open beak. :wavey:

If not a crop already I would be tempted to loose the forground and just go for the head shot.

Very nice indeed, perfect exposure

Looks good to me - I'd be happy with this.
