So for some reason I really blew it on editing fall colors last year. I barely touched any of the images until this weekend At least I did it before the color started this year right? Honestly, my editing skills sucked last year so I was not motivated to work on them. I churned out around 50 images this weekend and I feel happy with most of them. If there are any particularly bad ones in this set please let me know http://www.davidkinghamphotography.com/fall2011

Nice work, David! Some of the best I've seen from last fall. And hey, it (almost) never hurts to revisit old work.
If I can, though -- a lot of these look a little too overcooked to my taste. They're your shots, and you're free to take them whatever direction you want to, but they look a little to contrasty and a little too saturated to my eyes. You might want to come back to these at some point this winter and decide if you want to keep them at this level, or tone them down a touch.
"Mount Sneffels Sunset", "Gothic Road Fall Storm Pano", "Capitol Creek Sunset", "Capitol Creek Panorama", and "Snow Covered Sneffels" are all terrific. Quite the collection. Great work to get out there with impeccable timing to capture the color and the storms/snow.

Great collection, and what a productive autumn of shooting! This is getting me pumped for this fall.
I am particularly drawn to the stormy-sky shots, like the ones from Gothic Road and Crested Butte.

A superb collection, David.
I agree with Mark about the contrast - a bit too much for my taste in many of the images.
When you look back at this set a month or a year from now, it will be interesting to see if you still prefer this processing.

I remember "Snowy San Juan Sunrise" from the fall color contest - I really enjoy that shot. The American Basin shot also really stands out. Too many other great images to mention - very enjoyable collection.
EDIT: I just saw this on your website:
"I began working with photography when I had a burning desire for something more in life; the cubicle walls were killing me. There was a creative side of me that I didn't know existed until I found photography. Once I started, my passion was unleashed and any other type of work seemed mundane. I knew I had found my purpose in life and could never return to normalcy."
You took the words right out of my mouth...but I'm still stuck in the cubicle...sigh.

A really wonderful and diverse collection of images. Too many great ones to pick a favorite but I enjoyed the ones with the snow in them a lot. Glad you got around to processing them and sharing!

I love, love, love Aspen Leaves, but I am a macro girl, after all! Getting perfect edges on those leaves is such a blessing. What a wonderful year of color!
Stupendous collection David! Due to work previous years I was never able to make it with great colors and snow, and now this year looks like the color will be gone before the snow comes. Saw some some great locations to add to my eBook for the next edition.
