A bit special this one, however it may be a smidge bright at the top for me

Well done

I'm not so sure about this one Matt. I do like the inclusion of the surroundings but there are several elements which are somewhat distracting for me. The anchor thread running from the web to the LHS of the image is one and, as Ian mentioned, the top of the image overall is bright. I appreciate that the effect is what you would see from that angle first thing in the morning but it doesn't help the image (to my eye) particularly when the perch cuts through it and leads the eye out of the picture. As always, nice detail on the insect.

Love the dew and the inclusion of the web Matt, but I think I agree with Robert re the anchor thread :toast: :toast:

Works for me all day long, Matt. It's a quality wide-angle macro shot which isn't as easy as you make it look. My only nits are the 3 specular highlights running across the bottom of the image.

Very nice Matt. An unusual and different macro shot. Nice to see the habitat too for a change, rather than a uniform BG! :toast: :toast: :toast:

Look good but preferred one of the others on your blog.
