Waterside Woody
Greater Spotted Woodpecker.
The pool is suddenly hotting up at last.
If you get fed up with pool stuff ( and theres going to be some )-I'll revert to BOAS jobbies !
In 3 hours yesterday I had G,S Woody, Nuthatch,Wren, Dunnock,Robin, Blue Tit, Great tit, Cole Tit, House Sparrow, Chaffinch, Goldfinch,Siskin, Male and Female Blackcaps, Wood Pigeon, Magpie , Blackbird, Song Thrush, Willow Warbler, and Chiffchaff.- Oh and a Squirrel and two bank voles !
Usual set up
Slight crop. Bracken introduced
Thanks for your comments on the blue.

Any chance you could get lower John, I always feel a slight lower angle would add something? At least make a change. Otherwise up to your usual standard.

Hi Neil - I would end up sitting in water as the hide bottom is well below the level already. I picked that height as you may well remember-in order to lessen reflections..
Cheers

Good job something is hotting up at last, it has been a very quiet autumn here so far. Great feather detail here, John. Well worth viewing large.
