Hello everyone, its been ages since I Visited here, let alone picked up my Camera. I have been very busy, moving house. This is the first image from a day out on my new home turf, of Gower, South Wales. A Beautiful Barn Owl with a Rat. The weather was drab, and the lighting very flat, but it was great to be out, behind my camera!

I like this a lot, Paul. I like the plain white background, and pose of both bird and rat. If you have sufficient canvas, I might be inclined to pose the owl slightly more to the right of the frame.
Hope you enjoy the Gower - it is a great area.

Hi Paul, agree with David re: composition should be no biggy to add the extra canvas if you don't have it. I would also be tempted to increase the catch light in his eyes and lighten the rats head a touch. Having said all that it is a lovely shot and one i would like

Nice one, Paul. I would have liked a slightly higher shooting angle, but no deal breaker. That's one big rat too !
