Hi Folks. I'm an interloper from the RMNP forum but I was born and raised in Kansas so I guess that gives me dual forum citizenship. Friday when most of my RMNP buddies were heading to the mountains for fall color I headed east to Monument Rocks south of Oakley. Did some night sky shooting then a sunrise followed by a nifty sunset. Hope you don't mind me crashing your forum.

#3 more sunset. There was a band of clouds at the horizon that I thought would kill the light once the sun got behind them. Turns out it was smoke and haze from Wyoming wildfires. When the sun got behind that band the horizon exploded in red.

Nice set of images, Bill. #1 and #2 are my favorites. With a little more detail in the foreground #3 would be nice as well. You don't need to go over the top but I think it definitely needs more detail to hold interest. Thanks for sharing!!
You'll probably see me perusing the RMNP forum from time to time as well.
