Here's what the bells look like as of yesterday. Flickr date range searches are a great way to find current conditions in popular places. http://www.flickr.com/photos/jtref/8013704886/
I'll be in the Aspen/Marble area until Wednesday morning, then I'm heading to Kebler Pass, then the San Juans, coming back sometime early next week.

Kane, I will be out until Thursday or Friday at least. Definitely, let's try and shoot together! I'll e-mail you my cell phone number.
Thanks, Jason. You have helped me decide where to go first!

Joe, I was on Hwy 149 today between Lake City and Creede.
And also up Nellie Creek (Engineer Pass Rd)
Lots of good color, but plenty of bare trees already.
So, Wednesday may be a bit late, especially if this weather brings any wind.
You might want to reroute to the other areas that aren't that far along now.

8 repliesStan posted on the fall color thread that there is going to be snow above 12,000' on the peaks which should make for some grand shooting.
What's your plan for this week?
I'm heading out early tomorrow and I'm just not sure if I want to go to Maroon Bells first or head straight for the San Juans.
