Milky Way at Logan Pass
GOTCHA!

Before I started my hike up the Hidden Lake trail I was wandering around to take a look past the road block at Logan Pass. On my way back I spotted a candy bar that must've fallen out of somebody's back pack.

I couldn't resist this follow-up to my post yesterday. Used my 24mm TSE lens for the shot.

Incredible shot! How'd you get the Milky Way to show up that clearly and with such vibrant colors with so little noise?

Nice!! :jump:

That's probably the sharpest handheld Milky Way photo I've ever seen... It certainly helps to photograph it during daylight hours - wonder why nobody else thought of that!!

Ha!!

I could see this being a running theme, Milky Way at Yellowstone, or Crested Butte, or Bear Lake.

That could be a fun monthly theme.

Wow, one of the sharpest Milky Way shots I've seen. Must have used a high ISO, huh?

"Incredible shot! How'd you get the Milky Way to show up that clearly and with such vibrant colors with so little noise?"
To say nothing of how well I handled all that light pollution, too.

"you bum"
You're just jealous 'cause you didn't think of it first.
