2 Days of Fall
I only had two days to shoot fall colors this year--fortunately the weather was great (bad) both days! Started off at Maroo Bells (ran into Kane there) and enjoyed the rain and snow--then headed for the San Juans. Here's a sampler: one from the San Juans...
(gotta save the best for the contest  )

4) when i saw that Ridgway had developed it's famous fog bank--i literally ran full speed down the switchbacks (if youve hiked Bear, you know what that would have been like  ) and drove straight north to find this!

Well it looks like I know where I'm headed next fall. This is a very nice set Stan. That light in #5 is just insane and that first image has some very fine light that makes it very dramatic. Can't wait for the leaves to turn down here!

Nice shots Stan. That first one is pretty crazy, makes me wonder what you are holding back. :) I think half the forum is shooting the Juans this weekend. I ran into Todd C and Adam S, and probably a few other people I'm forgetting.

Fog, low clouds, snow, fall color- great combo. Liking 1&2, especially 2.

Nice! Those Ridgway fog ones are great. That fog gets really thick in the winter when it's super cold out... the river is fed by hot springs. As usual, I like your Landscape forum shot the best!
