Well just returned from the Tetons and Yellowstone. This was the first time that i have taken my wife, i have been many times. When we got off the plane in Jaskson hole you could hardly see the Tetons i couldnt believe it. I was told it had been this way for 2 months what a bummer. It didnt bother my wife that much since she had never seen the Tetons during good conditions as i have and shes from the Smokie Mountains in North Carolina and used to the haze there. But i was bummed knowing how these mountains should look on crisp fall mornings. I know you have to take the good with the bad with mother nature and i was fine with it just wished for better conditions for my wifes sake, anyway just venting alittle maybe better luck next time.

Friends of ours in Montana will back you up. They got so disgusted they loaded their camper and left. They call home once a week to see if the smoke has dissipated. In the mean time they're getting acquainted with the smoke-free states. :toast:

That's really too bad - be sure to take your wife again when it's clear - the Tetons in the fall with clear, crisp air is indescribably spectacular.
