The 151st edition of Nature Photographers Online Magazine is now ready for your viewing!
This month's cover photo/Photo of the Month is of a pair of Hawfinches by NPN member Edwin Kats. Superbly executed on all accounts, our thanks to Edwin for posting it!
Alain Briot offers the second in a series of articles on color harmony (the first installment can be found here). As is always the case with Alain's essays, this one is tremendously useful in understanding how to effectively use color in nature photos - Using Color Harmonies in Photography: Complementary Color Harmony.
Richard Bernabe spent some time with the new Canon EF 500mm f/4L IS II USM lens while shooting bears in Alaska. This new super telephoto will no doubt set a new standard of optical excellence, as will its north-of-10 grand price tag. You can read Richard's review here.
NPN member Dorin Bofan of Romania conducted an interview of some guy named Guy Tal, who offered his insight on landscape and nature photography. Even if you haven't been living under a rock somewhere and already know who Guy is, Dorin's interview is a very good read!
Finally, Mr. Faust is back with another bevy of book reviews that are of interest to all photographers (nature or not). You can check those out here.
