I thought, when I saw Pauls post, that I had missed my chance for this year. But I distinctly remembered taking the stag bellowing. Low and behond while scanning through shots on my card, a bellowing stag. I just forgot to copy it to the PC, thankfully did not format the card as I usually might.

When this first opened Neil I thought there was a processing fault but then realised it was blood. Terrific shot with great clarity.

I take it the other stag came off worse in that battle, looks painful.

No nits from me.

Well guys. I saw the daftest thing. It was too dark to document but below me in a sort of meadow the is a fenced off area. Presumably to let the saplings grow big enough not to be eaten by the deer. But this fellow was on the right of the fence and the other fellow was over the fence. The were fighting with the fence between them. Health and safety gone mad? "Fighting your claim can only be carried out with the use of a safety netting secured by a post every 3 meters...."
But the fellow who ran off did in fact jump the fence first. Weirdest thing I ever saw. German rules rutting or some such.

Cheers all :wavey:
