Hi everyone. I'm posting a pic, taken 10 days ago, from the Vedauwoo area between Laramie and Cheyenne. The colors are gone now but were terrific while they lasted. You have to work harder to find fall colors around here but there are some nice aspen groves scattered throughout the Medicine Bow National Forest. This pic was taken in the Blair area adjacent to Vedauwoo. I've enjoyed seeing what others have captured this fall and it's heartening to witness so many great photos despite the smoky skies!

Veedawoo on fire in that first image - great additions to your impressive collection from there.

Thanks guys! I've printed a few 20x30s of that first image and it has a real 3-D feel to it.

In addition to the color, I like the faint sunstar from the reflection of the sun.

You found the "pot o' gold" for sure Brett. The red in the first one is so vibrant. I love finding red

A wonderful series, Brett. That first one is truly outstanding though. Will I see that in the Mercantile next time I'm in Centennial?

Thanks to all for your kind words! Paul, a small-ish print of this image may appear in Centennial but a larger print is already on its way to my main gallery in downtown Laramie.

Brett,

Very nice. I went to graduate school in Laramie from '97 to 2000 and headed up there when I could during the fall, and was always happy when I could find a few of the red or deep-orange aspens. Those are fine additions to your collection/portfolio.
