!!Post up to three photos taken in the Pacific Northwest between September 22, 2012 and December 21, 2012 in this thread to enter our fall PNWNP Seasonal Photo Contest!!
The winning photo will be displayed on our splash page this winter, and be added to our forum banner for one year.
Please keep in mind these guidelines:
-Any NPN member may enter up to three images.
-The image must be taken in the Pacific Northwest ("anything you can see from Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia") in the current season (for example, see the dates above for the current contest).
-Submitted images must follow the NPN Posting Guidelines and fit within one of the Gallery Guidelines for the Avian, Environmental Photojournalism, Flora, Landscape, Macro/Close-up, Man & Nature, Photo Art, and Wildlife Galleries.
-One winning image and two honorable mentions will be chosen by the PNWNP moderators, and thus PNWNP moderators are not allowed to enter images.
-The winning image will be featured on the Cover Shot for the following season and in the forum banner for four seasons.

I'll go ahead and get the fall season started. This was taken at The Great Prosser Balloon Rally on September 29, 2012.

Just visiting over here from the MW forum, looking for some activity somewhere here. Allen; had to comment. My sister lives in ABQ and I have had the oppotubity to shoot the Balloon Fiesta up close. But the added reflection AND fall foliage is wonderful. Spectacular image.

This one is a late fall shot taken last week at Lake Fenwick in Kent, WA. I call it "Reflections Of December".

This third one of fallen maple leaves might be a little cliche, but I thought it turned out rather well...

Considering there are only a few entries, any chance this will be extended?
First Place- Ken Smith for his Leaves and Acorns; beautiful arrangement of elements and a unique take on Autumn.
2nd place- Allen Brooks for Prosser Ballon Rally; great color and sense of excitement with the rising balloons. Another great take on Fall.
3rd place- Scott Smorra for Multnomah Falls; gorgeous color, symmetry and atmosphere.
