Color all gone? I think not!
Headed out this morning with my new 60D to check out some fall color near Castlewood Canyon. Scrub oaks are about to peak!

I really like the palette of subtle colors in this image.

And a wider view across the valley. There's still a lot of color out there.

60d, eh? It's about time someone else had one here on NPN!

I like the images, especially the first.

Nice work, Bill. Castlewood looks to be in prime condition. All 3 are good comps in a tough place to find them. I like the pano format for #1, just about everything about #2, and the depth in #3. Very well done!

Glad to see you're having fun with the new gear.
#2 is my favorite. Nice composition and spot lighting.

I assume conditions should be about the same at Roxborough SP?

Aspen are past peak, but still attractive in various mountain areas. I had a great time Friday near Kebler in the rain. Patience rewarded me when the rain lifted, for great views of Marcellna over the gambles oak and aspen. The cloud cover gave me nice, even lighting for Velvia 100. Obviously, you'll have to have patience while I get it developed!
