Not been visiting this forum due to my garden project in between rain and back pain (some of the stone flags are heavy ) Managed to photograph a wasps' nest from a distance of six inches, trying to avoid their flight paths, which wasn't easy I stitched three anaglyphs together forming a triptych so please view the larger image with your red/cyan glasses of course.

Hand held as always

was wondering what happened my 3dglasses have sat idle for too long. struggled a bit with the 3d affect as even view large they are very small. Great bravery though wasps scare me

Thanks for taking the trouble to comment Phil. I probably won't be posting too often, from now on, as 2D images have very little interest for me now, and 3D images seem to create very little interest on here, judging by the low viewing figures and comments.
Such is Life, each to his/her own. Best wishes.
David i had to look to find my glaases ,your a brave bloke to do this

Rather you than me getting between a wasp and it's nest, bravery indeed
Agree with Phil re the small subject and the subsequent 3D effect.

Thanks folks for your comments. Luckily I can tolerate wasp stings, but not fresh figs, I ended up visiting hospital with a severe allergic reaction after eating two fresh figs. I agree about the 3D effect. The original images look far better on my glasses-free lenticular screen.
Thanks Phil. Going to give 3D HDR panos a go when I get the chance, but they won't be any good as anaglyphs, and stereo pairs will be too big to put on here.
This one isn't really doing it for me David. I find there is too much going on with the triple images and the 3D effect isn't as strong as some of your previous images.
Robert
ps: I'm late commenting as I couldn't find the specs.

Thanks Robert and Nick.
Of course you are right, John, but I had to do something to stimulate some sort of response for my anaglyphs.
You win some and loose some, but its better than remaining in a rut. 'Onwards and upwards' to quote a GQT presenter.
