One from early August, Roe Deer buck, caught mid leap in pursuit of his mate. Not as sharp as I would have liked, but that's my 7D for you, just wish I'd had the time to change to the 1DMk3 as that would have nailed it. I really liked the deer's pose so I thought I would share it anyway.

Doesnt look too far off. I would be pleased but i understand the need for it to be perfect. It is still a nice shot as is
Top notch Andy to get this 'in flight' shot. Would agree on your own assessment of bodies, the 7D is good, but you have to be dead on with the setting from what I have seen. The setting works well and separates the subject nicely. You might find it just needs some more USM as it appears, when download it does bring out some more detail. Watch the blacks filling in and FYI the image does have an Untagged profile.

Wow a 2½ D image. Excellent, especially the large one.
