I took this the other day at Slimbridge, and was amazed at the quality, at 650ISO. the camera was a d200 with a 300mm 2.8 afs lens and a 1.7 tc................
Looks great web size with no noise and super detail. The high ISO performance of the recent digital camera models is fantastic and combined with a noise reduction tool such as NeatImage or NoiseNinja you can get excellent prints from these high ISO settings.
Very nice squirrel with a lovely translucent green background. It looks much better in photoshop in Adobe RGB colour space - I suspect you forgot to convert the image to SRGB for web use and this desaturated the colours.
Couple of blobs in the top right and botttom right that could do with cloning out.
Yes the high ISO performance of the latest cameras is wonderful - I use 800 iso a lot.
A very nice squirrel, perhaps a touch more room around but that is only minor, high ISO with digital can be impressive as long as you get the exposure right...
Certainly a lot more impressive than my D60 Was out shooting Grey Wagtails yesterday but found I can't really push the ISO beyond 400. Nice image, and I agree with cloning the blobs out.
