My appologies for not being active here lately, but after an ownership change with my company and a serious health problem in the family to top it all off with tanyas youngest son moving in with us I have not had alot of time to take pictures. This was taken today at the tualatin hills nature park, and I think my best of a Pine Siskin to date.

Wade! Good to have you back. I too am sorry to hear about the struggles.
Nice grab of a siskin. For me, birds that are more plain in their coloration really do best if there is color elsewhere in the photo. This is perfect; the nice greens of the branch do that job well, without overwhelming.

(You still owe me a coffee get-together.
Sure hope things in your world are coming back together and settling down. Sounds like a tough time. Sure is nice to see you back!
