Biggy at last +3D
Fallow Deer Buck
This is the largest one to turn up on the stand yet. Hardly any does though so he never got chance to get gouing so to speak. Only saw him the once. Not as big as the master buck on the main stand but he's getting there. Late afternoon -hazy sun.
Have a gander at the big pic.

Right then Tarzan, that there is a fine specimin! He does look a little softer than the fallen tree though, maybe a compression thing?

Absolutely right Neil.
I was mucking about with "live view" for the first time as the shutter noise seemed a lot quieter. Got the focus line a bit off, and at that aperture theres nothing much to play with.

Right with you. Live view focussing needs you to zoom in, but then the image wobble so much you can't do much but pray. Of course if you disable focussing on the shutter butter it would engage VR and make life easier. Does the D7000 not have a "stealth "shutter mode?

Reminds me of a vintage colour transparency, for some reason.

Neil
It has a "quiet" mode which takes the mirror up but I can't seem to get used to it. I,ll get there one day.

Enjoy the 3D anaglyph. Glasses required .!!! My new secret method  :toast: :toast: :toast:

I'd almost, but not quite, given up hope.  There I was, thinking you had been dragged back into the two dimensional world of Flatness, John.  I hope your secret method brings you loads of 3D success, but probably not on this Forum. :frown:

John, the 1DIV has a "S" mode and it is a bit odd, press and release, but it does make a bit of a difference. Does not AF between press and release due to mirror being up though which is a problem.

A handsome animal indeed John and in as fine a setting as you could wish.... but he is a bit soft compared to your usual posts. The 3D post really works though. David T take note
