Oak Creek too
I don't think I can match the creativity and effort of Peter and Chikku but here are my dirty half-dozen from the day.

#1-This is probably my fave of the day.

Great stuff here! Why am I driving to Zion for Color. Should be in AZ. Nice work!

Looks like you got some good stuff Bob, that first one did come out pretty nice. I also like 4&5 with that stump. Don't remember passing that.

#3 struck me at first (although it seems a little dark) then 5&6. The colors look good. Hope the leaves survive this windy week until Saturday.

Great stuff Bob. For anyone that hasn't been there, West Fork of Oak Creek is incredible for fall colors. I like #2 and #3 pretty well and that single red leaf on the tip of the boulder in #2 is screaming at me to throw on the macro lens for a detail shot. Thanks for sharing.

I also like #3 a lot. #5 would have worked better if you could have included the entire fallen tree. Perhaps a stitch of two images would have worked there.

Love the light and color in 6 and 3 in particular. The trunk in #1 dominates a bit for my taste, but the twisted trunk/root in #5 works better in that respect.

Superb Bob! Just like you said you got plenty of keepers. My fav is #1 and #5. I dont even remember passing that log in the way back. a very cool scene. It was nice hanging out with you and walking with numb feet.
