Where Grasslands Meet the Forest
Here's my take on the area where the fellas photographed Mt. Adams at dawn. This image is made on the other end of the day very near where they were in the morning but looking the other way, as no Mt. Adams to be seen by then. The grasslands of the meadow wander into the woods as the woods tumble out into the grass. Lots of color, layers, and some may argue, chaos....

Sure had a great time meeting everyone and shooting around on Saturday. Sunday we followed our more individual agendas having gained tips from each other and some of the local residents we met. Thanks, John, for suggesting this outing and for keeping us loosely gathered together for a day. Nice job of spearheading the event.

Beautiful, Catherine. I liked the grasses throughout the area....soft billowy...and colorfull...glad to 'see' this comp. Well done!

I like this, Catherine. It has a nice blend of soft colors and different textures.
Glad you made it to the photo shoot this past weekend. It was nice to meet you.

Wonderful! I love the way the different parts both blend and contrast at the same time.
