St Davids
Another one of my landscape attempts  . This was taken from Carn Llidi on St Davids head looking up the coast.

I like very much! Looks well composed to me with the foreground, distance and sky with lots of detail and neither competing with each other. Gets my vote Rob. 10/10. Makes me wish I was there.

Looks ok to me Rob.
Know it fairly well from the old days. Maybe a bit more emphasis on the distance might give a bit more impact( but then you would loose some of the sky cloud )
Cheers

A very pleasing image, Robert. Agree with JR re the distance as a little more of the sea in the frame would be good, but very nice as posted.

Hi Robert, the heather is a lovely foreground feature and there is natural depth here but i find the shot has two issues: one the lack of a natural lead into the picture the stone wall is kind of a barrier for me and the second is perhaps higher POV was needed to include more of the coast this would have put the comp. more into thirds as well. However it is as presented a pleasant shot of a lovely view. Just my take, hope it is useful :wavey: :toast: :toast:

A very pleasant shot but Phils suggestion about the higher POV makes very good sense
