....the mountains in Wyoming I mean. I know this is the Colorado forum, but there didn't seem to be any regions specifically covering the area up there....so I wondered if someone here has been up in Cloud Peak Wilderness, Bighorn Canyon, etc.? I'm going to make the loop of scenic byways (if 14A is open), but are there any idyllic little spots off the beaten path I should check out? I'm going in a few days so snow is going to keep me down in the relatively lower altitude zones....but had this opportunity to go now on a lark. So how do I make the best of it? Thanks ahead of time.

You might check summitpost.org. Lots of info on mountains in general.
