Woke up to snow Sunday Morning at our campsite. The weather looked like it might be decent, so we headed out to explore. This shot was from the North end of Elk Meadow as the sun was trying to break through the fog.

It started snowing while we were out getting some shots Sunday morning. I found a large Cedar tree to get under while I put a rain sleeve on my camera. I looked up and saw this angle with a Cedar branch and the colors off in the distance. Looks like a possibility for Christmas cards this year.

This was from the Elk Meadow on Saturday morning. The sun started breaking through the clouds and highlighted the area with streaks of sunlight.

Hi Don, good meeting you last weekend. I like the unique shot of the meadow and the cedar. Cedar shot has a way of transporting me back to the wet moments of that morning. Of course, Mt A is great... then again we were all bunched up...so individual creativity was in processing and vision...This shows your skill in highlighting ptns. Good handling of those clouds.
Excellent group of shots from the weekend. Nice handling of the light in the Mt. Adams image. The one with the snow has everything-- fog, blue sky, the snow, the autumn seasonal color-- a great depiction of the elements of Sunday morning. The one with the cedar bough is nice and intimate.
Good to meet you.

Very nice shots Don! I'm sure sorry I couldn't make the trip. Hopefully next time.

Well done Don. These are all very nice. That cedar shot would make a nice card (the first one too).
How did Sunday go? Conboy was amazing, but I had big issues with my lens fogging and wasn't able to photograph there as much as I wanted.
