Zen Fire
Flaming Japanese maple I took on Tuesday at Kubota Garden. The color was intense!

Know right where you're standing, Joe! Love that tree. Looks like you had nice overcast conditions, but perhaps it needs just a bit more zing? This reminds me that I gotta get over there soon, before Fall is on the ground. Your timing was good!

You're right Catherine, I turned it down for fear of blowing out that intense color. Here's an updated version.

Don't know why they cut that branch off near the bottom though!
