D7000 16-85mm at 20mm ISO 100 1/3s at F16 tripod, MLU, cable release, polariser and 3 stop ND on sky and hills. A few tweaks in Capture NX2.
Taken this morning. The sunrise was a disappointment but it was worth waiting around for (the other three photographers had gone by then)as cloud built up and cast some shadows on the Black Mount. Chilly morning -3 and feet like blocks of ice.
Many thanks for your comments on my last post. C+C warmly welcomed as always.
Absolutely drop dead gorgeous Nick. I love the way the river leads the eye from right to left and into the distance. The light is delightful and the detail is amazing. Spot on.

I'm no landscape expert, but this is one classy photo Nick! Superbly processed too.

A beautiful scene, very nicely photographed too, Nick. I can second Bob re the neoprene Muck Boots, I have a pair and they are just superb and very warm.

Get yourself some neoprene linded 'MuckBoots'. Minus 13.5 in the fens earlier this year and my feet were toasty
