New Locations
I spent this summer traveling and hiking to locations that I had never been to and had never heard of. I decided to shoot as many waterfalls as I could this summer and the world waterfall database along with google earth were great tools in helping me find the locations. Some of the locations I went back to a second time to shoot the fall colors.

Next summer I plan on doing the same thing, exploring new places. I am hoping that this will help me improve my photography skills so that I don't fall into a rut of shooting the same locations with the same compositions. I'll still visit a few of the same places I visited in the past now and then. But for me, It's new adventures

I've noticed that the colors in some of these seem off compared to the ones on my screen and have discovered that they were saved in RGB rather then sRGB. I'm glad I posted these otherwise I doubt I would have cought it.

Great series. Especially #8.

Getting into new territory is always refreshing from a photo standpoint and just a sense of exploration. Well done.

Nice looking bunch. I am a sucker for nice aspen intimates and really like #6. #8 is also excellent.

A fine series! #'s 4, 6 & 8 are my favorites. #1 has a marked blue color cast. Fixing it makes it pop quite a bit better.
While the sky and lake in #7 look great, the landscape itself is underexposed.
Try a quick AutoColor on it and see what you think.

Exploring waterfalls to enjoy and photograph is a very worthwhile task. I look forward to seeing more from your journeys!

4,5,6 & 8 rock! 8 & 4 are probably the overall winners.
The water in 2 is kind of funky (too blue) but i like the comp.
Really nice set!

Excellent series here! May favs are #6 and #8. The light on #6 is quite nice. i would suggest cropping the bottom log out and probably cloning the stick on the bottom.
