River Coupall & the Buckle
D7000 16-85mm at 16mm ISO 100 1/4s at f18 ,tripod, MLU, cable release and polariser.

Hoped for more water in the river after the heavy rain yesterday but last night was dry and its surprising how quickly the water levels drop. Still the light was kind. All C+C warmly welcomed and many thanks for the comments on my last post.

Please view LARGE.

Another stunning view Nick. The light is sublime and the chosen shutter speed is just right. :toast:

Sky is suble and the right SS really sets it off.

Very nice and as Robert said the length of the exposure is perfect... however I am not too sure about the stream/water leaving the frame bottom centre... it seems to be leading my eye out and not in, if that make any sense... still a lovely scene

Large is indeed a treat Nick, lovely lighting and gorgeous rich colours. The blurring of the water is great too. A cracking exposure! :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast:

Cannot fault this one Nick. Yes the river runs out centre bottom but I think the peak balances this nicely
