I have a few photos from our trip that I am posting in Landscape. I'll cross post them here, since they were from our weekend shoot. This was from the edged of the field while we waited to see if Adams would show on Saturday. The camera read the scene as quite blue, and I left it that way to bring out the blue color on the leaves and bark.

Well, predawn is the blue hour, right? I love this as is. There's more of an abstract quality to it with the blue. Pointillistic, too. Nice one, John!
Can't wait to see more from those who went. I'm stuck offline as far as uploading photos, but will be able to catch up soon.

I remember seeing this on your camera LCD. Look good there. Looks amazing here! What a great comp, John, with the colorful leaves in the fg, the water flow and the long look down the opposite bank. Processing looks fantastic, too, as you brought out a lot of luminance.

I like the bold big leaf (?) maple leaves hanging over the stream...What a great composition! They go well with the far shoreline of brilliant foliage. I also like the grassy shot ...the outline of leaves suspended in the the lattice-work of dry grass is neat. As well, the dappling of sun amidst the shade. Well done! The top is a splash of colors...cool.. but structure and details are lost in so small of post...no doubt that big..it would be fun viewing.

Nice shots there, John. Love your comp and colors. Good lead in lines and you have a good eye for spotting
those "blue trees". Kind of a Monet look to it.

Very nice in all aspects John. I'll be posting an image taken farther down the creek.
