An old Boar in a pool
I would have preferred a lower POV to this shot, however as soon as I opened the passenger door Mr Warthog was more alert and so avoiding any more disturbance to him and the rest of his foraging family I chose to shoot from the footwell, not ideal, very cramped! Taken mid morning so not ideal light and one small water highlight reflection removed in the BKG. The more you watch these characters the more you realise they are good fun, love the way they forage on their elbows.

Neil B, this was what I was referring to in a previous reply.

Some things are best cropped close, and this is one of them. Fabulous detail, Steve, which really brings out the character of the animal. I agree with you that they are great fun to watch.

Nice shot Judith :toast:

You'll be wanting to re-process this for sure though when you've kopped for a certain persons latest video thingy!

Depends on how good the video is, but more importantly, how long do I have to wait for, 'said persons video'?

Great detail in this portrait Steve. They are great fun to watch especially when they run with their tails bolt upright. Back with them in March and cant wait
