Red Squirrel (2)
From the same morning. Not sure if it is the same one. There were three of them that morning.
Exif: 1/60sec, F4, EV +2/3, ISO 640, 500mm

Thanks for looking.

Love the setting and composition. Just wish the reflection was cut off! :toast: :toast:

With Oscar here, the reflection cut off through the forehead really spoils what could be a very nice image... as the tail is out of focus maybe you could have lost some of that to include a more full reflection?

Thanks for your comments.
This one has less reflection, or should it even be more cut-off. Sorry, no more space available on top.

Tom sorry to against the trend but the fact that you have the eyes in the reflection makes it ok for me and adds to the image, nice that we all see things differently

Splendid shot Tom, a lovely creature captured just at the right moment, love the reflection - so for me, it's the first! :wavey:

I prefer the repost Tom. If you had the chance to photograph it again, I might be tempted to take one where you don't include the tail at all, and therefore get the body, and body reflection in. Or get a 200-400!

The second works better as the head cut in half in the first shot is very off putting, however if the reflection was complete i think i would have cried it would have been so wonderful :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast:
