red-Footed Booby
Another from my recent trip to the Galapagos Islands. These guys look like clowns, with their big red feet, and colored faces.
D1X, 105mm macro, cropped slightly on 3 sides, one small area of another bird's tail on the right cloned out. Usual sharpening and color-heightening. But the feet really ARE bright red!

Sandy, it almost looks like this one is levitating - funny as all getout! I can definitely see why they are called booby's and red-footed here needs no explanation. Good catch and I think that this is your best Galapagos post yet!

What a funny little guy! I love both his expression and feet. I have always wanted to visit the Galapagos, must have been an incredible trip.
