Female Montagus Harrier in late afternoon sun by the lake at Ndutu.
Only just getting around to sorting out the Tanzania pics from March this year ready for the winter talks. Its my first ever serious attempt at using layers (so go easy on me ) as the head was in deep shadow and I wanted to soften the BG a little. Also the original was very big in the frame so I added a bit to the left and top.

Great action capture Bob
'Tis a tad 'gloomy' for my taste though - I've just tried tweaking it a little in PS and it looks great, but I won't post it unless you say its ok.

Okey-dokey
A little screen blend mode layers action from behind a light tones mask.
It's a pixel accurate effect and non-destructive.
