This is another Fox. I fond it lying in the sun, and as usual it was completely unconcerned by my presence. I've had the fortune to be walking along side it no more than 3 or 4 metres away, and even watch several hunts, none successful though! I have a similar image to this, but from a lower angle, but I think I prefer this as they are less distracting grass stems. I'll post the next one as my next post.
In other news, a Bittern is back at the London Wetlands Centre!
Yeah I did in about April; I was sitting with it on my knee, and it rolled off. It hit a table leg, so there was a tiny dent in the MF ring, but nothing else. The only thing that therefore didn't work was that I wouldn't move the MF ring. I then sent it in before skomer because my AF was playing up, but it turns out that that was the camera and not the lens. At least I can use MF again now though!

Stunning Oscar. I agree with Phil, cloning out the orange to the left would be an improvement. A very nice intimate portrait.

Looks like a vampire !
These fox images look unbelievably tame. Have they been released do you reckon?
Oscar- why don't you get the sigma fixed ? I had mine done and it wasn't too expensive at Sigma imaging.
Cheers

I like the lighting on this, and I suspect that the angle is about the best going. I am going to be interested to see the one from the lower viewpoint though.

Another excellent Fox shot, Oscar. Love the toothy grin on said Fox and the very slight nits have been covered. Certainly looks like this Fox craves human company, so make the most of it while you can
Also, good luck with the Bitterns this year.
