If you want a good laugh, listen to this short video of a woman suggesting a "Deer Crossing" sign be moved because there are too many deer crossing there and causing accidents!
I saw this last week Sandy. To think, she actually believes what she is saying......scary.

That is a classic, Sandy. Thanks.
I used to get calls and letters much like that when I worked for a wildlife agency. What's scary is that some of these people VOTE!
Buck deer to his lady friend when he sees a 'Deer Crossing' sign: "Never a crossing guard when you need one!"

What's truly frightening is that she probably votes with about the same level of intelligence.

Several years ago we were traveling up the Dempster Highway in the NWT. At the side of the road was a caribou carcass. People were parking and getting out of their cars to try and locate the grizzly that brought it down so they could take a photo.

People that dumb is what happens when you upset the natural balance of survival of the fittest!!
My family caught this last week, and we're still laughing about it. Poor lady.

If the highway department (or anyone with paint) had a sense of humor, they would paint lines across the road simulating a crosswalk right past the deer crossing sign.

OMgoodness I really needed this laugh tonight. Scary to think that not only does she vote but she probably has children and is teaching them everything she knows about deer crossings
