Cle Elum Photo Shoot - Variety
Steve, Larry and I (who were @Trout Lake with the gang) were joined by a fourth, Mike D...also a fine outdoor shooter...to spend an afternoon in the Cle Elum area along I-90. A couple ponds formed from gravel pits were lined with colorful trees that begged to be photographed. We obliged and topped it off with a meal in Cle Elum at the local sandwich shoppe next to the famous bakery... highlighting the trip. We had a hard time adjusting to shooting in dry weather ... kept reaching to wipe the lens when there was nothing to wipe.

Haha, I wish I had "nothing to wipe" last Monday when I was up there! Still some good color I see!

Eye candy in all! I particularly like #2 for the intimacy and subtle color, but all are just great, Ken, for color and comp. Sounds like a fun time.

Well I'm putting this on my list of locations for next year! Very nice saturation of the leaves balanced with deep reflections.

Wow, these all are beautiful Ken. Very nice! I'm with Phil; this looks like a great location to visit in the future. I'll have to remember it.
